Privacy Policy

Introduction

EzraAI ("we", "our", or "the Bot") is a Discord bot that provides AI text and voice conversation, an economy system, cosmetic collectibles, moderation tools, and community utilities to Discord servers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, who can access it, who we share it with, and how it is used when you interact with EzraAI.

By using EzraAI in any Discord server, you acknowledge and agree to the data practices described in this document. If you do not agree, you may request removal of your data at any time as described in Section 13, or use the bot's own /forget command.

Data We Collect

EzraAI automatically collects certain information when you interact with the bot. This includes:

User Data

• Your Discord User ID (a unique numerical identifier assigned by Discord)
• Your Discord username and avatar at time of interaction (for display purposes, e.g. profile cards and leaderboards)
• Experience points (XP), level, prestige, coins, and other economy balances earned through bot activity
• Owned and equipped cosmetic items — characters (including any you make via /create-character, see "Custom Character Data" below), profile decorations (including raid-exclusive decorations granted through Ezra Max or a legacy Raid Pass purchase), and crates opened
• Daily streak data, work/mine/fish/beg/dig activity, quest progress, badges, and achievements
• Voice-channel time tracked for voice leveling (/voice-xp), if enabled on your server
• Vote timestamps from top.gg if you choose to vote for the bot
• Long-term AI conversation memory and custom facts — see Section 5
• Referral codes and referral activity if you use the referral system
• Premium subscription status, tier, and associated payment records (see Section 10)
• World Raid participation data — your raid damage totals, attack counts, kills, and any raid-related badges or decorations earned (see Section 3)
• Legacy Raid Pass seasonal subscription status and purchase records, for accounts that purchased one before it was folded into Ezra Max (see Section 10)
• Warning/strike history issued by automated moderation or server administrators
• Reminders and AFK status you set through the bot
• Support ticket messages and transcripts, if you open a ticket

Server Data

• Discord Server ID for servers where EzraAI is present
• Server configuration settings (AI personality, log/welcome/report/suggestion channels, automod settings, selected AI model)
• Custom server facts and memories added by server administrators (/mem-add)
• Premium status of the server if applicable

Message Content We Process

When you talk to EzraAI in an AI-enabled channel, use /ask, or your message is evaluated by AI-assisted moderation, the text of that message is sent to our AI providers (Section 9) to generate a response or moderation decision. We do not keep a permanent log of every message sent in your server. Message content is only retained beyond that immediate processing if it becomes part of your AI memory (Section 5), a support ticket transcript, or a moderation warning record.

Custom Character Data

If you use /create-character (or the equivalent dashboard tool) to make your own AI character:

• We store the character name, short description, and persona/system prompt text you write
• We store the avatar image you upload — but only a downscaled, recompressed copy (max ~320px, saved as JPEG); the original file you uploaded is discarded once that copy is made
• We store your Discord User ID as the creator, and (if provided) a display name up to 32 characters, so the character can be attributed to you and counted against your per-person creation limit
• Submissions are automatically screened by a keyword-based content filter and, unless auto-approved, held in a staff review queue before becoming visible in /character
• Once approved, the character's name, description, persona prompt, and avatar are visible to and usable by any user of the bot

What We Do Not Collect

• A permanent log of every message sent in a server
• Images or files shared in Discord (beyond what you explicitly submit to an image-generation or AI command for processing)
• Email addresses, real names, or any off-platform personal information
• IP addresses or device identifiers
• Traditional payment card or bank account information — see Section 10 for how cryptocurrency payments are handled

World Raid Data

EzraAI includes a cross-server World Raid event (/raid and its sub-commands) in which participants coordinate to damage a shared raid boss. When you take part:

• We record your raid damage totals, attack counts, and kills so they can be tallied toward the shared raid goal and shown on raid leaderboards
• We record any raid-related badges or decorations you earn, such as the Raid Champion badge, so they can be displayed on your profile
• If you have an active Ezra Max subscription, or a legacy Raid Pass purchased before it was folded into Ezra Max, your raid-perk status and purchase records are handled the same way as other premium purchases (see Section 10)

AI Memory (Long-Term)

EzraAI's AI memory feature is designed to persist, not to reset between conversations. Once something is written to your memory, it is intended to stay there indefinitely, so the bot can recall it in future sessions — including sessions in a different channel, days or weeks later.

• Memory entries are added automatically as you converse with the AI, based on details the AI judges worth remembering, or explicitly by server admins for server-wide facts (/mem-add)
• Free-tier accounts and premium accounts may have different memory-slot limits; premium tiers currently allow more memory slots (see our Terms for current tier details)
• Memory is stored as text (not raw audio, even if it originated from a Live Mode conversation) and is encrypted at rest along with the rest of your user record (Section 7)
• Memory persists until you clear it yourself (/mem-remove, /forget), a server admin clears a server-wide entry, or you request deletion under Section 13
• We do not cap how long an individual memory entry can persist — it is retained until explicitly removed

How We Use Your Data

Data collected by EzraAI is used exclusively to operate and improve the bot's features:

• To track XP, levels, coins, cosmetics, and economy progress across sessions
• To power long-term AI conversation memory so the bot can remember context you share, across sessions
• To enable real-time voice conversations through Live Mode
• To manage leaderboards, streaks, quests, and achievements
• To process top.gg votes and reward voters
• To deliver reminders and manage AFK status
• To enforce server-level and global moderation actions, including AI-assisted contextual moderation
• To process and reconcile premium purchases (Section 10)
• To respond to and resolve support tickets
• To generate anonymised usage statistics for bot improvement
• To investigate abuse, security incidents, or attempts to misuse the bot's AI features (see Section 8)

We do not use your data for advertising targeting, profiling, or any commercial purpose beyond providing the bot's services and the sponsor content described in Section 11.

Data Storage & Encryption

User and server data is stored in a managed SQLite-compatible cloud database (Turso/libSQL, accessed via its HTTP/libSQL API). Per-user data — including your economy balances, long-term AI memory, and other stored fields — is encrypted at rest using industry-standard authenticated encryption, with encryption keys derived from a secret held only by the bot operator. This means the raw contents of your stored data are not readable directly from the database without that key or without going through the bot's own decryption logic. Data is transmitted over encrypted (TLS) connections.

Data is stored for as long as you or your server continues to use EzraAI, or until a deletion request is made (see Section 13).

Administrator Access

Encryption at rest protects your data from outside access to the database, but it does not mean your data is inaccessible to us. The bot's owner and trusted bot administrators retain the ability to decrypt, view, and directly edit any user's or any server's stored data through the bot's own administrative tools and console.

• This access is used for support requests, debugging, abuse investigation, fraud/payment disputes, enforcing these policies, and correcting data errors or exploits (e.g. an economy glitch or a duplicated item)
• Administrator access does not require your prior consent or notice for a specific action — by using EzraAI you acknowledge and accept that bot administrators may view or modify your data, including your economy balances, cosmetics, AI memory, and other stored fields, without notifying you beforehand
• We do not use this access to read your data for idle curiosity or to sell/share it — see Section 1 and Section 6 for how we do and don't use your data
• Administrator access is limited to individuals trusted by the bot operator; we do not guarantee a specific number of people with this access, and it may change over time

Third Parties & APIs

EzraAI interacts with the following third-party APIs to provide its features. When a feature listed here is used, relevant content (e.g. a message you send, or your voice audio) is transmitted to that provider's API for processing:

• Discord API — the platform through which all interactions occur. Subject to Discord's Privacy Policy at discord.com/privacy.
• Mistral AI API (mistral-medium-latest, mistral-large-latest) — chat completion models used to generate AI text responses for standard and premium tiers, including web-search-augmented responses where enabled.
• Groq API — used as an additional fast-inference AI text provider, and to synthesise spoken replies during Live Mode (models accessed here change periodically as Groq updates its hosted lineup).
• Anthropic API — used directly (not solely via OpenRouter) to access Claude models for certain AI text responses.
• Google Gemini API — used directly (not solely via OpenRouter) to access Gemini models for certain AI text responses.
• x.ai (Grok) API — used directly to access Grok models for certain AI text responses.
• Cloudflare Workers AI — used as an additional AI text provider where configured.
• Cerebras, NVIDIA NIM, Cohere, and SambaNova APIs — used as additional fallback AI text providers to keep the service available if a primary provider is rate-limited or down.
• OpenRouter API — used to access further AI models, including Moonshot AI's moonshotai/kimi-k2 and Meta's Llama models, routed through OpenRouter's API.
• Pollinations.ai API — the primary image generation provider used for the /imagine command; the text of your image prompt is sent to their API to produce the image.
• Hugging Face Inference API (stabilityai/stable-diffusion-xl-base-1.0, stabilityai/stable-diffusion-2-1, and other open models) — used as a fallback image generation provider if the primary provider is unavailable.
• Deepgram API (speech-to-text transcription, and text-to-speech via aura-* voice models) — used during Live Mode to turn your speech into text and the bot's reply into speech.
• Fish Audio API — used as the primary text-to-speech provider during Live Mode where configured, with Groq/Deepgram as fallback.
• Brave Search API and Tavily API — used to fetch live web results for web-search-augmented AI responses, where enabled; the search query derived from your message is sent to whichever of these is configured.
• top.gg API — used to receive vote notifications. Your Discord User ID is shared with top.gg when you vote.
• NOWPayments API — used to process cryptocurrency checkout for premium purchases. See Section 10.
• Turso / libSQL API — our database host, used for encrypted data storage.

We do not control, and are not responsible for, the privacy or content-moderation practices of these third-party providers. Because EzraAI relies on multiple AI providers, the specific provider or model that generates any given response may vary or change over time without notice.

Payments & Cryptocurrency

The "Chat+" message add-on and premium tiers ("Ezra Pro" and "Ezra Max") can be purchased with real money, paid in Litecoin (LTC) cryptocurrency, or (for premium tiers) earned temporarily using in-bot virtual coins (a 24-hour trial). Raid-specific perks (2× damage, reduced cooldowns, the exclusive Ultimate Strike attack, the Raid Champion badge, and exclusive cosmetic decorations) that were previously sold as a separate seasonal "Raid Pass" are now included with an active Ezra Max subscription; the Raid Pass is no longer sold on its own. Records from Raid Pass purchases made before this change are retained and handled the same way as other premium orders described in this section.

• Cryptocurrency checkouts are facilitated through a payment flow that may use the NOWPayments API or a direct wallet address unique to your order
• We store a payment/order identifier, the USD price of your order, your Discord User ID and Server ID, the tier purchased, and the transaction timestamp, in order to confirm and reconcile your purchase
• We do not collect or store any traditional payment card, bank account, or e-wallet login information — cryptocurrency payments do not pass through us in that form
• Blockchain transactions are, by their nature, public and permanent on the Litecoin network itself; this is a property of the cryptocurrency, not something we control

In-App Sponsor Content

To help support the free tier of the bot, EzraAI may occasionally include a dashboard-managed sponsor callout alongside certain command replies. Displaying this content does not involve sharing your personal data with the sponsor, and does not affect which AI provider or model handles your request.

Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active or the bot is present in your server. Specifically:

• User data persists indefinitely unless you request deletion or use /forget
• AI conversation memory is long-term and stored until you clear it via bot commands or request deletion — see Section 5
• Voice audio processed during Live Mode is not intentionally retained beyond the live session itself
• Vote timestamps older than 30 days are automatically pruned to maintain rolling monthly counts
• Custom character data (name, description, persona prompt, and avatar) is retained for as long as the character stays live or pending review; a rejected or deleted character's stored data, including its avatar, is removed. You may request removal of a character you created via Section 16
• Payment/order records are retained for as long as reasonably necessary for accounting, fraud-prevention, and legal-compliance purposes
• Server data is retained while the bot remains in the server; if the bot is removed, server configuration data may persist for up to 90 days before automated cleanup

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data. Regardless of location, we honour the following requests:

• Access — you may request a summary of the data we hold about you
• Correction — you may request correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion — you may request complete deletion of all data associated with your Discord User ID, or use the bot's /forget command for AI memory
• Memory clearing — you can clear your long-term AI memory at any time using the bot's built-in commands

To exercise any of these rights, contact us via the support server or the email address listed in Section 16. Deletion requests will be processed within 30 days, though note that a record of any completed cryptocurrency payment cannot be erased from the underlying blockchain itself.

Children's Privacy

EzraAI is not directed at children under the age of 13, in accordance with Discord's own minimum age requirements. We do not knowingly collect personal data from users under 13 years of age. Discord prohibits use of its platform by those under 13, and by extension, EzraAI is bound by those same conditions.

If you believe a child under 13 has interacted with EzraAI and provided data, please contact us immediately for prompt deletion.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the bot's features, applicable law, or our data practices. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this document.

Continued use of EzraAI after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
